Highest Scoring Route:
Corneria - Meteo - Katina - Sector X - Macbeth - Area 6 - Venom
To Travel the route above:
- Corneria - Finish the level by saving Falco, flying under all the arches then following Falco through the waterfall. When the level is finished, choose change course to go to Meteo. (There's more bad guys to shoot by going the secret route.)
- Meteo - Go through all 7 of the warp gates just after the Checkpoint to get to Katina
- Katina - Finish the level any way you wish
- Sector X - Kill the end of level boss before Slippy gets whacked
- Macbeth - Send the train the wrong way by shooting out the 8 switches
- Area 6 - Complete the level
- Venom 2 - Finish
Laser charge extra hit technique:
Charge up the laser by holding A, but instead of allowing it to lock on to a bad guy, fire it off so that the bad guy gets destroyed in the blast (not by a direct hit). For this you will receive a HIT+1. If used on enemies that would normally give you a HIT+ anyway you get even more. (i.e. shooting an enemy gives HIT+2 score = 3, if with the blast score would be, HIT+1 + HIT+2 score = 5)
Extra points on the boss sections:
The quicker you shoot the bosses on the end of each level the more HIT points you get.
